Well, I'm flattered. It would be great if I absorbed anything from him without realizing! Stuff beyond how to fight, anyway.

I think if it came down to it, you would be just as good an Exalt as both him and Lucina.

... Although it's true that half the time I forget you're royalty. And Morgan.

I do too, most of the time. Especially without Lucina or Father Chrom around to remind me... It feels like they've been gone for ages, but it hasn't even been a month.

[ If time flies by when you're having fun, it must travel slothback when you're in a murder maze. ]

I don't think anyone could be as good an Exalt as either one of them, Mother aside. No one would ever forget they were leaders! They just seem so... exalted?

I suppose you'd have to be, to be an Exalt... but you and Morgan are still tactical leaders, so I think that counts for something?

I guess it would have to! All of my eggs are in one basket -- at least, as far as I know. Virion always said nobles have to be well-versed in the art of small talk, court manners, dancing, and so on, but I've never had much opportunity to test my proficiency.

There isn't much of a court here, and dancing... er, well, you sort of need music for that.

... Er, not much. Inigo's mother tried teaching me some of Father's worship dances, after he died, but I was never very good at it.

I've never seen a worship dance before, so my standards are rock bottom. No worries!

B-but if you actually wanted to learn a dace, it should be a partner dance, right? I don't think court dances are ones you do on your own, and this one doesn't require--

[ He brings a hand to her cheek, trying to soothe her nerves a little. ]

Look, you don't have to do anything you'd rather not. It was just an idea -- I think I can manage to live without it.

[ The gesture at least subdues her, and Noire falls silent, biting her lip.

I-I wouldn't! [ but she smiles, sheepishly, and ducks her head. ]

[ oh no she's the cutest... He grins and gives her temple a smooch. Cuz he can. There was a time when he couldn't... That was a bleak ten minutes ago. ]

[ It probably won't help that he's totally staring expectantly at her now... sorry... ]

[ No, not at all. It's why she's fidgeting and staring at the ground, before she squeezes her eyes shut for a few brief seconds, then begins with a very nervous hum. It'll get more musical in the next few seconds, when she slowly goes through the steps, hands lifted in supplication, the twirl meant to represent new opportunities...

Well, it's very much a dance. ]

[ Oooh. How... sacred. The moves do seem to have a certain worshippy weight to them... Moreover, it certainly is Noire dancing(!!). He can't say he ever expected to see such a thing in his lifetime. So he makes for a fascinated audience, soaking in Noire's performance for as long as it will last.

When it looks like she's about done, he bursts into applause. ]

[ And she startles back to attention, turning pink as she glances back at him. ]

I-it wasn't that impressive...

No, it was wonderful! You're usually so... tense? Restrained? Posture-wise, I mean. So seeing you open up a little is a treat!
