[ oh no she's the cutest... He grins and gives her temple a smooch. Cuz he can. There was a time when he couldn't... That was a bleak ten minutes ago. ]

[ No, not at all. It's why she's fidgeting and staring at the ground, before she squeezes her eyes shut for a few brief seconds, then begins with a very nervous hum. It'll get more musical in the next few seconds, when she slowly goes through the steps, hands lifted in supplication, the twirl meant to represent new opportunities...

[ Oooh. How... sacred. The moves do seem to have a certain worshippy weight to them... Moreover, it certainly is Noire dancing(!!). He can't say he ever expected to see such a thing in his lifetime. So he makes for a fascinated audience, soaking in Noire's performance for as long as it will last.

When it looks like she's about done, he bursts into applause. ]

[ And she startles back to attention, turning pink as she glances back at him. ]

I-it wasn't that impressive...

No, it was wonderful! You're usually so... tense? Restrained? Posture-wise, I mean. So seeing you open up a little is a treat!

[ well, this just got a lot more embarrassing. But it's also Morgan, so Noire slowly places her hand in his with no further protest. Except-- ]

[ He places his other hand on the small of her waist, because that seems... correct... and arranges them into an approximation of what they should... probably look like. CLOSE ENOUGH. ]

Hmm... This is actually kind of intimate, isn't it?

[ Granted, this is a lot more romantic than eating dirt, even if she has no idea if any of this is right. ]

[ NEITHER DOES HE. But there's no faster way to learn/discover than by jumping out of the nest, birdlike. Even so, he takes his time getting to the actual dancing. Sometimes it's just nice to hold her a little. ]

Well... there's nothing saying I can't make something up.

[ He has a vague grasp on what a waltz should sound like, even if he can't remember specific tunes. He might've heard Brady or some street performer sawing one away, he can't quite remember... but no matter. ]

R-ready... [ oh gods don't step on his feet, Noire-- ]

[ He begins to doo-doo-doo his way into a surprisingly passable song and tugs her into motion with him. ... And right away he gets a sense of HOW DO YOU DANCE?? IS THIS DANCING. But surely it must be more than trying not to step on or get stepped on... ]

[ It probably does, but all she can really do is sway and stay close, one hand still nervously clutching his shoulder while the other tightly grasps his own. They'll get it eventually. ]

[ That's some hold she has on him. He senses... the slightest bit of nervousness here... He can't exactly talk to her while he's providing the music, though.

After a long moment, he begins to sing in time. ]
