Of course it's safe! [...] We haven't installed any traps yet.

Thinking up non-lethal traps is a little trickier. But come in! You're getting the world premiere.

[... She just giggles at that, moving back to allow Noire to come in.

It was pretty fast, honestly, with Morgan's help! He's like having a ladder with hands and a cheerful grin!

I mean, since it's empty in here now...we might as well make it into the best blanket fort ever!

[ So... empty... it's still too early for there to be no pang at all, but aggressively roadkilling negative feelings is a special Morgan talent. He drops his butt onto a mattress as well and crosses his legs, getting comfy. ]

Perfect for long non-sleepovers and emergency meetings. The latter of which this is! And the former of which this may end up being. So let's talk.

An emergency? [ Well now she's definitely alert, as she sinks down, folding her legs neatly underneath her. ] I know Robin's disappeared--

[And her smile fades, but only a little bit, even as she leans back against a pillow, wrapping her arms around her legs thoughtfully.]

Yes. I'm not sure how it was in the past, but I know this is the smallest I've ever seen us. We're not really an "army" anymore, are we?

Rebellions, huh? ... I guess every army has to start somewhere. But if we're going to get anywhere from here, our numbers aren't allowed to get any smaller than this.

[ well, that just narrowed it down a lot. ]

It's all right, Noire. I don't think we have to. We can just...ally with everyone as they are! And we'll represent the Shepherds.

[And that nobody else has to deal with Haven...storage or not.]

Mm. That's true too, but what I really meant was... you two aren't allowed to leave! It's safer back home, and we could disappear without warning... but you can't leave.

[ He probably isn't making much sense, but ah well. ]

[ After a pensive pause, Noire will scoot a little closer to him. ]

I won't... we won't. After everything, I think it's better to see things through to the end.

[And for her part, Morgan just reaches for both of their hands, holding them tightly.]
