[ Losing isn't an option. Nor is up and leaving everyone else behind. Even if it means he'll have to wait a little longer to see his mother again... he grips Morgan's hand and finds Noire's other hand. ]

[ Noire can't say anything because she's turning red and making embarrassed mumbling noises. But her grip on both of their hands is getting tighter. ]

[A pause, and then she's giggling.]

But I think we broke Noire.

I think so too. Nothing a little pincer attack won't solve, though!

[ MORGAN SANDWICH ACTIVATE?? ]

Morgan's just going to nod cheerfully, and then from her side, tackle Noire in a big Morgan sandwich hug.

MORGAN SANDWICH ACTIVATE.]

We love youuuu, Noire!

[ And he'll just bookend Noire's other side so that she's nice and upright and not a spilled half-sandwich. He'll also be SMOTHERING HER WITH LOVE. ]

You're the best, Noire!

[ There she goes, swaying back into one Morgan as the other tries to take her down. There's a whole lot of semi-frazzled squeaking going on here. ]

It's a little too late for that, ha ha! You've been caught in our pincer formation!

[now it sounds like a battle move..... but really it's just a hug.]

I think we can say the plan worked, at least. Look at how lively you are!

[ shoosh shoosh no squeaking... just hugs. ]

[ but at least she'll subside, because why would she ever turn down hugs from her two favorite people? ]

[Morgan's just giggling, nodding, and rests her head on Noire's shoulder. On the other hand, this position means that she's in the prime position to see a stack of her spell tomes, with the purple tome on top.

Heyyyy, Noire? How good are you at dark magic?

[ On the other side, Morgan rests his head gently against Noire's. Height differences...

He'll just get comfy while Noire answers. ]

[ well, now she's got nowhere for her head, but there's something nice about having their weights resting against her, so Noire hardly minds. Instead, softly-- ]

I know a little... it's about the same as the other spells, I taught myself. I just can't do hexes.

[It's the price you pay for double morgans--but a moment later she lets go (reluctantly), scrambling over the mattresses and pillows to retrieve the tome.

And then she brings it back.]

It's just... I found this [after Tharja disappeared], and it's just lying here collecting dust!

[ He sits up a little at sight of the tome. He saw it earlier, but... ]

That's a great idea! It would be a shame putting Waste to waste, after all.

You... found this? [ She'll hold up her hands for the book as she straightens, frowning in consideration. ] It looks like one of Mother's...

but she just passes the tome over to Noire, nodding slowly.]

Honestly, I think it might be... I found one of Father's tomes when he-- disappeared, too.

[ Then is one of his mother's tomes lying somewhere too? She did have Thoron. Which reminds him... ]

I found a Thoron tome a little while ago. I thought it might have been Mother's, but she never lost hers. Didn't your mother have one of those too, Noire?

... I was given her circlet, too... from someone else. I suppose it would make sense that her tomes would also be left behind.

[ But it sort of hurts. ]

Just...think of it this way! She left them behind for us so we can survive!
