Hmm. English is one of the prominent languages in the library, isn't it? So I think I'd better start there!

[ All the -kuns and stuff everyone tosses around does make him curious about Japanese, though. Maybe he'll tackle that one after. EASY PEASY. ]

I've never learned a new language before. This'll be fun! We can start off with a few key phrases like... "Ambush!" or "Get me a healer!"

Yes! Also, a fair amount of people speak it here. Actually, most people seem to speak either English or Japanese or a non-Earth language...there are some outliers - Korra and her friends speak Chinese, as I said, and Raphael speaks French - but for that is true of the majority of the people here, as near as I can tell.

Hoy there! [ .......though when she says it, Sonia speaks in perfect, unaccented English. The switch is natural to her; despite the auto-translate, she's always tried to match what people are speaking when she can. It's actually a marked change from how she usually speaks to Morgan, which he might notice! Given that she doesn't know his language, she actually speaks to him in Novoselican for the most part. ]

As to the other two phrases..."Ambush!" and "Get me a healer!"

[ Like he did, she speaks slowly. ...And then, trying to mimic what he'd said earlier, she repeats the three phrases as she thought she heard him say them. ]

Oh, not at all! I have many left to learn...but members of the Novoselic royal family are required to learn at least thirty languages.

I didn't even know there were thirty languages to learn in one world! And here I was pumped up about learning three little bits of one... How do you keep it all straight in your head?

And that is a small number, really, considering my world has well over a thousand languages.

As to keeping it straight...really, the more languages you learn, the easier it becomes. I suppose it can be hard to imagine when you know just one?

Er...I think I am twenty or so...that is, due to certain circumstances, I believe I should be eighteen - counting the birthday I had in the maze [ YEAH BTW SHE HAD A BIRTHDAY DOWN THERE AND NEVER SAID ] - but in actuality, that is not my age.
